The Provincial Department of Women’s Affairs (DoWA) and CARE Cambodia will conduct Gender-Based Violence Response Working Group (GBV-RWG) coaching and capacity-strengthening activities for GBV service providers in Ratanakiri Province.

Date: 22 September 2026, at Meeting Hall of Ver Sai district government. Objective: To strengthen the capacity of district GBV working groups to effectively use standardized reporting tools, improve the quality and management of GBV data, and enhance skills in team management, planning, budgeting, and resource mobilization to ensure a sustainable and effective GBV response mechanism.

Under CARE activities, Gender-Based Violence Working Group (GBV-WG) leaders will organize quarterly GBV Working Group meetings in Ratanakiri Province.

Date: 22-30 September 2026 Venue: Meeting halls in Bor Keo, Lumphat, Ta Veng, Koun Mom, Ban Lung, O'Chum, Andoung Meas, and Veun Sai districts, Ratanakiri Province. Objective: To present the achievements of the GBV Working Group during the third quarter of 2026, review and discuss challenges and solutions related to GBV cases, and develop a work plan and activity plan for the fourth quarter of 2026 to strengthen coordinated and effective GBV response efforts.

The Provincial Department of Women’s Affairs (PDoWA) will organise the 3rd Quarterly Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Working Group Meeting in Siem Reap Province.

Date: 23 September 2026 Venue: Provincial Meeting Hall, Siem Reap Province. Objective: To review achievements, progress, challenges, and lessons learned over the past three months, and to jointly identify practical solutions to strengthen the effectiveness of ongoing and future GBV prevention and response activities.

The Ministry of Women’s Affairs (MoWA) and UNFPA will conduct training on the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Case Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service providers and entry points in Phnom Penh.

Date: 28-30 September 2026 Venue: Phnom Penh. Objective: To strengthen the capacity of CCWC focal points and members in the ACCESS 2 target provinces by enhancing their understanding of GBV case management SOPs, clarifying their roles and responsibilities in service delivery and case management, and strengthening their understanding of the distinctions between GBV case management and broader multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms.
